VISITING YOUR FRIEND’S HOME
VISITING
YOUR FRIEND’S HOME
This
afternoon I am visiting my friend’s house. His parents are not at home. His
father is in Phnom Penh and his mother is working in the hospital. His brother
is reading a book on the verandah in front of the house. He’s getting me some
water from the kitchen. I’m looking at some photos of his family on the wails
of his living room. Behind it are two bedrooms. They one on the right is my
friend’s. It’s got two beds in it. One is for him and another is for his
brother. On the beds I can see two white mosquito nets. The living rooms very
big with a sofa, a table and many chairs. My friend has also got a television,
a CD player and radio. Behind my friend’s room air two small rooms. They are
bathroom and toilet. The kitchen is on the left of the bathroom. Now it’s
nearly time for lunch, so I say goodbye to my friend. He asks me to stay and
have lunch with shim but I have to come back to help my mum to cook.
