THE ADVANTAGE OF TOURISM

Nowadays the Cambodian government is interested in tourism very much. The government is doing their best to open up the country for foreign tourists and national visitors. In fact, there are several advantages of tourism for our country and people.

The main point is that tourism offers a lot of jobs the people like; receptionist, tour operators, bus drives, security guards, sellers…etc. When there are more tourists, a lot of people will be employed. Moreover, the government receives millions of dollars every year from tourism. The money comes from hotel taxes, and other taxes from private companies, so the government can use this money to develop the country. Furthermore, people who live near tourism centers can sell their products like fruits, vegetables, jewelries and a lot of things. Thought tourism, Cambodia is known by many people in the world tourism make the government take care of ancient temples which are the most important things for our country. Moreover, the environment is also taken care of.

Finally, I think that tourism is an important field for the government to develop our country.
