THE WONDERFUL TONLE SAP

The Tonle Sap is one of our biggest rivers. There is also the Tonle Sap Lake. It is one of our most important resources, because there are a lot of fish in it. It lies to the north of Phnom Penh and the fishermen with their fishing nets are near the banks of the lake. When there is a lot of rain, the lake is very deep and the water flows from south to north. But in the dry season the water flows from north to south and the lake becomes Shallow. Then it is easier to fish. I think that the Tonle Sap’s landscape is real beautiful.
