THE RADIO
THE
RADIO
The
radio is one of the wonders of modern invention. It is a novel system of
sending news like a telephone or telegraph but without wires.
Marconi,
an Italian scientist invented the radio. In 1896, the first wires message was
sent across Penrith and Weston through an apparatus the invented.
The
receiving sets catch the sounds which are then, broadcast. The more powerful a
receiving set is, the greater it can catch broadcast sounds from long distance.
Today, we get radios using digital numbers to locate stations instead of
pointers.
The
invention of the wireless or the radio is a marvel in this word. One can know
everything instantly through a radio set. Message from distant countries can be
heard promptly. In sea voyages the wireless is of immense value. The radio is
also a source of cheap amusement and entertainment.
