ROAD ACCIDENTS

Every day we road and hear about road accidents. Hundreds of people die on the roads every year and many more are injured of maimed for life. Despite the horrors, the accident rare continues to increase.

Many factors contribute to this.

The roads are overcrowded these days. Thousands of cars, buses, motorcycle, cycles and other roads users compete for space. Everyone seems to be in a hurry. Al it takes is a small mistake and an accident occurs. Also there are people who are reckless and inconsiderate. They take great risks and thus are a danger to themselves and others.

Then there are faulty vehicles, jaywalker road hogs, drunks, pot holes, traffic jams, baa weather. Stray animals and other hazards. It is impossible to get rid of them entirely.

Road accidents with continue to occur. The only imperilment thing to do is to take steps to reduce the risks. The more care we take the less the chances of accidents happening to us.
