John was born in Kompong Thom, but when he was 2, his father got a new job in Phnom Penh, and he grew up there. He went to college at 18, where he met Mei Mei. He went out with her for three years, but at the end they had lost of fights and they split up. In his mid-twenties he met Srei Neang. They fell in love and got married within six months. A year later, she got pregnant and they had their first child, a boy. Sadly, the marriage was not success. John left two years afterward and they got divorced. Four years later, Srei Neang remarried, and now she is expecting a second baby.
