COMMUNAL COUNCIL ELECTION DAY

Cambodia has been a democratic and peaceful country since 1993. Being a democratic country, people have to go to vote to choose their representatives.

On the first of April 2007, commune council election was celebrated throughout Cambodia. In my commune, it was an exciting day for the people because it was a historic day to choose a good commune council which they trust in from the party which they rely on to develop our commune. The election start at 7.00 and finished at 3.00, so it lasted 8 hours over eighteen people went to election offices happily to vote. In my commune, there four election offices which were prepared in school building by National election committee. I and my family went to election office, there were a lot of people queuing front of the election office waiting for voting. When I got into office, there were four election officers and four party agents who were working in the office, I was introduced to vote and then I follow them.

Finally, I think the election was prepared well and correctly.
