A WOMAN OF STRENGTH
A
WOMAN OF STRENGTH
The
strength of character that Eleanor Roosevelt possessed obvious in her face. On
her head, which was always held high, her light hair was styled in a
no-nonsense way and did not cover her forehead or eyes. Her eyebrows were thick
and natural, and under these intense eyes, which reveled her intelligent mind.
Her nose was straight, and as she aged, her cheeks sagged in a bit and formed
the common wrinkles that make a triangle out of the nose and edges of the
mouth. She was a serious woman, but, when she smiled, her smile showed
sincerity and genuine pleasure. She was to her husband. Franklin, who was
presiding of the United States from 1932 to 1945. In short, it was clear from
the first impression that Eleanor Roosevelt was a strong woman.
