A VISIT TO THE NATIONAL LIBRARY

Recently I went with my elder brother to have a book at our national library. We visited the place in the wee hours of the morning and so it was crowded with school children. It was a Saturday morning.

The library is situated in front of the NIM (National Institute of Management) and near the Rattle Hotel in Phnom Penh. There are hundreds of thousands books in the library including valuable reference off books, for university students. Almost all secondary school students are member of the library and they are allowed to borrow two books at a time.

This being my first visit to the place, everything looked strange and interesting. I saw boys and girls borrowing and returning books. I saw dozens of boys and girls reading or studying their lessons quiet corner.
